During Membership Dinner on May 7^th, 2024, USF senior medical student, Emily Heideman, received the Inaugural Dr. Robert Yelverton, Sr. Memorial Scholarship.

Emily is a fourth-year medical student who will be entering an Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program in July. Her academic performance qualified her for membership in the USF of the national medical honor society.

Robert "Bo" Yelverton, Jr. presented her with the scholarship.
